Rosemont, Ill - Even after a surprising 21-14 record, tying for fourth in the Big Ten and returning all but one player from last season's squad, Michigan was not predicted to finish among the top three teams in the conference preseason media poll. But the Wolverines were taking the predictions in stride, instead focusing on the season ahead. The lone departure was point guard Darius Morris, who left for the NBA after his sophomore season and was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.
