Michigan freshman Spike Albrecht, a 5-foot-11 point guard from Crown Point, Ind., had the difficult task Thursday of starting for All-America guard Trey Burke, who was suspended for violating team rules. Albrecht responded with a Burke-like all-around game, playing a team-high 30 minutes and contributing 16 points and six assists with only two turnovers in an 83-47 exhibition win over Northern Michigan.
